Combine the wonders of ancient Egypt & Red Sea relaxation. Visit the incredible Pyramids of Giza, explore the Valley of the Kings in Luxor & then head to Sharm El Sheikh to soak up the sun.
Day 1: Cairo
Arrival to Cairo, the largest city. Meet and assist at airport. transfer to your hotel and leisurely afternoon to enjoy your hotel facilities. Overnight - Cairo
Day 2: Pyramids & Sakkara
Today we visit the Pyramids of Giza. Rising above the beige coloured desert sand, the Pyramids at Giza Plateau are the planet’s oldest tourist attraction. Gaze in awe at Cheops (Khufu) - the largest of the three great pyramids. Constructed from over 2.5 million limestone blocks, it is thought to have taken more than 20 years to construct. Afterward we tour the tomb-strewn necropolis of Sakkara , featuring King Zhoser’s step pyramid, constructed by Imhotep, the pharaoh’s chief architect in 27 BC, this was the template for all future pyramid construction. Day 3: Egyptian Museum & Islamic Cairo
Cairo – Luxor. This morning we venture to old Islamic Cairo and the Egyptian Museum, home to the most extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities in the world. Arguably the most famous exhibit is the stunning solid gold funerary mask of the boy-King Tutankhamen. An entire gallery is devoted to the treasures unearthed by Howard Carter at Tutankhamen’s tomb in the Valley of the Kings in 1922. This evening we board the overnight sleeper train to Luxor. Day 4: Valley of the Kings
At over 4000 years old, Luxor really is ancient Egypt at its best! This morning we travel to the West Bank to visit the legendary Valleys of the Kings & Queens and Temple of Hatshepsut. The Valley of the Kings was constructed to house the regal sarcophagi-enclosed mummies of the mighty pharaohs, awaiting their passage into the after-life. Some of the best known tombs are those of Ramses II, Seti I, Amenhotep II and of course, the tomb of King Tutankhamen. In all, more than 60 tombs have been excavated. This evening there is an optional visit to the Luxor Temple by horse-drawn carriage. The Luxor Temple is beautifully illuminated at night. Overnight - Luxor
Day 5: Karnak Temple
Luxor – Sharm El Sheikh. This morning we visit the mighty temple of Karnak, a spectacular temple on a gigantic scale, which is dedicated to the Theban gods. This afternoon board a flight to the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh, where you can enjoy some R & R!Overnight - Sharm el Sheikh
Days 6 - 8: Sharm el Sheikh
Spend the next 3 days relaxing in beautiful Sharm El Sheikh. Soak up the sun on the beach and perhaps try a spot of diving or snorkeling to check out the amazing reefs - Sharm El Sheikh is one of the world’s premier diving destinations. There are plenty of pursuits on offer here, such as windsurfing, kayaking, golfing and a casino! A host of bars and restaurants aplenty, will keep you entertained in the evenings. Day 9: Cairo
Sharm El Sheikh - Cairo. Enjoy your last morning at leisure in Sharm, before we catch the afternoon flight back to the bustling metropolis of Cairo. Spend the remains of the day shopping for last minute souvenirs or simply exploring the streets of Cairo. Overnight -Cairo
Day 10: Cairo
Hotel check out and a departure transfer to the airport, for your onward flight home.

an additional ‘1-person’ supplement will apply
